Everything Pat has done in her life, at home and in business has led her to her career as a Real Estate Sales Representative. From her earliest years in Toronto, Pat has made looking after the needs of others while moving forward her first priority. Her dad died when she was a teen and she worked during high school to help her mom.
After high school, furthering her education was simply not possible and she went to work full time as a grocery clerk and later as a receptionist, first at an insurance agency and then as a secretary at an advertising agency. Pat found the ad agency world dynamic and exciting and began taking night school courses so she could advance her career.
Over time, at several agencies, she rose through the ranks while working on accounts including Chrysler, IBM, Rogers, CIBC and others until she was Senior Vice President, at Publicis Advertising. Advertising is a tough business and to succeed it requires creativity, resourcefulness, attention to detail, great people skills and the ability to set goals and achieve them.
Pat and I met at one of those ad agencies, we married, raised two kids and looked forward to a time when life would slow down a bit. I knew if we spent time here in my hometown, Pat would learn to love this place too and so we bought a cottage off County Road 50. It wasn't long before she knew we just had to live here full time.

When Pat decided to move on from her career in advertising her boss of 15 years had these kinds words to say:
"Pat, I can't imagine what the last 15 years would have been like without you. I don't think we'd have made it. You walked into our chaotic world and made sense of it all. You built a team and a business that managed anything and everything we threw at it. Knowing that you were on our side and in our corner instilled the kind of confidence necessary to make bold promises. We charged forward, with an unshakeable belief that you and your team would deliver.
And you did. Every time. You built the best production operation in the country. And you made it look easy. Words can not adequately express our appreciation. You are one in a million Pat.
Here's to you, the memories shared, the road we all traveled together and the adventure now before you. We're with you in spirit, as I know you are with us. Long may you run!”
CEO, Publicis North America
Andrew's tribute speaks volumes about Pat’s character and sums up her success in business. She is someone you can trust to get the job done.
What I have noticed over those years is how Pat always puts others and their needs first. Listening, empathising and then setting right to work are Pat's greatest skills, whether dealing with family, staff, clients or bosses. The real key to Pat's success is that she makes sure others reach their goal so everyone crosses the finish line together. Her honesty, integrity and passion for serving others is why clients want her working for them... and with them.
In her spare time Pat loves listening to jazz, spending time with family and friends and when she can find the time, painting the beautiful landscapes of Essex County.
